| The emergence of Art-Werks.com can be traced back to 1996, though, at the time, we had not even conceived of selling art over the Internet. What started everything, we discovered an artist in Florida that created works of art using whatever fish he caught that day. When we returned to Illinois, where we all live, and told a friend about this artist's creations, they wanted one, but had no way of seeing his work. Now we've created Art-Werks.com to bring little known artists to the world stage. We have our hearts in fine arts, but make our living in the world of commercial art and advertising. Janet works with the artists and has the pleasure of sharing some of her unique pieces of art with you from the site. If we can help in any way contact us. We have spent more time than we can remember wandering through art fairs looking for something unique, interesting or that piece that we just had to have. Now we look for artists who have that certain flair which makes them unique.
